The suave Bulgarian just doesn't think the Gunners are good enough to challenge the Red Devils European dominance.
Manchester United centre-forward Dimitar Berbatov seems in little doubt that his team will progress past Arsenal in the Champions League semi-final and, despite him respecting the Gunners' quality, thinks that the Mancunians' determination to retain the trophy will see them through.
"The Arsenal games are going to be great for everybody to watch and I know it is going to be difficult," he told Sky Sports News. "They are a great team. But we are Manchester United, so I think we are going to win.
"We are determined to defend this trophy and the fact we now have to face another English team makes it a little bit different. But we should still be confident."
The Bulgarian also took the time to praise his team Cristiano Ronaldo, the man whose stunning long-range strike against Porto secured the Red Devils' semi-final berth, as well as helping them become the first English side to win in Porto. He also felt that the defence, boosted by the return of Rio Ferdinand, was rock solid.
"It was a very special goal," he added. "Cristiano gives everything he can in every game. Sometimes you need a special player to do something out of the ordinary. Cristiano delivered.
"Our defence is incredible. They have been tremendous for us all season and deserve so much credit for their performances.
"The major reason we are in the position we are at the moment is because of our defenders and I want to thank them."
